Premee "the Dreamer" Mohamed, Ancient Whisperer (1995-???)

Born to Walter Georgia Mohamed and Salisa Carlson, Premee Mohamed spent her youth in Sangre Grande on the island of Trinidad. As a child, she developed a fascination with the wildlife of the island, particularly in the Gulf of Paria, where she developed a friendship with a rare species of communal cuttlefish (Sepia societas). In 2009, she became the subject of a David Attenborough documentary (The Cuttlefish Language) which attempted to support the then-pseudoscientific theory that humans and eels, cuttlefish, and other tentacled creatures share a common ancestor which arrived in the ocean millions of years ago. The film currently holds a 19% on Rotten Tomatoes, though several critics appreciated Mohamed's efforts to re-enact scenes from Shakespeare using a family of cuttlefish as actors.

In 2015, a rift opened in the Gulf of Paria, exposing the region to a resurgence of volcanic activity and an influx of unknown species of squid. Shortly thereafter, Mohamed received prophetic visions of gargantuan squid flooding the Earth's major cities and destroying human civilization in a sea of tentacles. Not one to give in to terror, she instead commissioned a local boat to take her the rift in the Gulf of Paria; once there, she plunged into the sea and disappeared into the rift. Four days later, the rift closed, and Mohamed was found floating in the gulf, skin covered in purple circles. To this day, nobody knows what happened within the rift, and Mohamed refused to provide an explanation to the public.

In 2021, Mohamed was approached by the Canadian government's Division of Oceanic Science and immediately took a position aboard the HMCS Winnipeg II, a ship that was until recently unknown to exist. Documents procured in the 2087 AI Strike on the Canadian Intelligence Network have shed some light on Mohamed's involvement with the government. For one, we now know that the U.N. had been approached by an emissary of a being calling itself The Many-Armed Destroyer (codenamed M.A.D.), who demanded the immediate merging of the human species with the All Knowing (now identified as Sepia omnescientia). Contemporary theories suggest that this would bring about the conversion of the Earth into a cosmic living organism capable of speaking to the cosmos; however, no documents exist which can confirm this theory.

While aboard the HMCS Winnipeg II, Mohamed operated as Earth's emissary, using her unique skills to communicate with M.A.D. and negotiate peaceful relations and a trade deal. Initially, these were rejected, but in 2024, a deal was made with one notable request: that Mohamed merge with M.A.D. Once more undeterred, she agreed and used a Canadian deep-sea sub to descend into the Mariana Trench, where she promptly disappeared. It is believed that she was consumed by M.A.D. and integrated into its consciousness.

Mohamed's human form has only been seen three times since 2024: once in the Louvre, once in an iceberg off the coast of Canada, and once in a piece of toast in Trinidad. Despite these unusual appearances, new science suggests she has been sending messages to us through the movements of communal cuttlefish. In 2056, a Trinidadian scientific survey decoded one such message, which read as follows: WE ARE REACHING WITH MANY ARMS, AND MANY ARMS ARE REACHING BACK. This message is still being interpreted to this day.
